During the Christmas season, peanut butter kiss cookies are a staple on all cookie trays. We spent Sunday making Christmas cookies and these egg-free Peanut Butter Kiss cookies were one of the easiest ones to make. My version uses the same recipe as my eggless Peanut Butter Cookies for the base dough.
Follow the same directions as the Peanut Butter Cookies found here. However, you will skip flattening the cookies. Instead, each dough round will be rolled in sugar and placed on the parchment lined cookies sheets.
Bake in a 375-degree oven for 8 minutes.
After baking for 8 minutes remove from the oven and push an unwrapped candy kiss into the center of each cookie.
Let sit for a minute then remove the cookies with a spatula to wire racks for cooling.
Once they have cooled these egg-free Peanut Butter Kiss cookies will be ready to eat or put out on your holiday cookie tray!
Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies (egg-free)
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups baking mix i.e.Bisquick or Jiffy
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 cup sugar for rolling dough
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large mixing bowl mix together the crunchy peanut butter and milk. Add vanilla and gradually add baking mix. Stir until dough forms.
Using cookie scoop take rounded teaspoonfuls of dough and roll in sugar. Place on parchment lined cookie sheets.
Bake 8 minutes or until bottoms of cookies just begin to brown. Remove from oven and immediately press 1 milk chocolate candy kiss into the top of each cookie. Allow cookies to cool on wire racks before serving. Store in airtight container.
